The project "Women's Rights Culture - the Cornerstone of Democracy" is aimed at strengthening the concept of women's rights culture as an essential aspect of democracy and creating awareness of gender-equal citizenship in Latvia. Within its framework, it is planned to carry out extensive advocacy work, ensuring a gender equality perspective in decision-making and civic participation processes. Public information work will also be carried out, creating understanding of the importance of women's perspectives and gender equality in democratic processes. As a result of the project, thanks to the knowledge, skills and experience gained in civic participation activities, a greater number of women and young people will have been involved in civic activities and decision-making processes, as well as have gained or strengthened faith in their ability to influence decision-making processes.
